Objectives :

The objectives of the Amravati District Mallakhambh Organisation, Amravati are:

  1. Arrange the competitions at Talluka, District and State Level for girls and boys under 16 years as well as for males and females under 19 years. From these competitions they form the State and National level wrestling players teams.
  2. Arrange the training camps for wrestling.
  3. For mental and physical development of girls and boys they organize the competitions of different sports at State and National level.
  4. Affiliate the Sangh with entire District of Maharashtra.
  5. Arrange the camps to develop the National Integration.

Center Description / Details The facility is 40 meters long and 20 meters wide. It is equipped with all the latest accessories and equipment. The facility has a UWW (United World Wrestling) approved mat imported from Switzerland. It also has an Indian mat from Patiala Punjab. Along with all the wrestling department facilities, athletes also benefit from the other amenities on the HVPM Campus. Nearly 100 students practice at the facility regularly.

The HVPM Wrestling Department has been active on the wrestling circuit from the beginning. Regularly organizing state-level competitions, Active participation in national and international wrestling competitions, and Helping talented and underprivileged athletes are the hallmarks of the HVPM Wrestling Department.

The Mandal has created many wrestling champions at the national and international levels. In addition, it has created a number of HVPM wrestlers who dominate district-level wrestling competitions.

2. Greeco-Roman Wrestling
