On January 12th, a spirited celebration marked the joint commemoration of the birth anniversaries of the nation's mother Jijabai and the youth icon Swami Vivekananda. Organized by Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, the Degree College of Physical Education, the event included a grand rally with hundreds of students from various branches of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and other departments. Each participant in the rally echoed patriotic slogans, proclaiming victory to the nation's mother Jijabai, Swami Vivekananda, and Mother India.
The rally commenced at 4:30 AM from Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal. Dr. Shrikant Chendake, President of the Mandal, Dr. Madhuritai Chendake, Secretary, and Dr. Srinivas Deshpande, Principal, inaugurated the event by hoisting the flag. Distinguished personalities like Abhavip Kulkarni, State Minister Dr. Shyam Munje, Mandal's Pride Dr. Sanjay Tirathkar, Dr. Vijay Pandey, Dr. Jayant Ingole, Dr. Uday Manjre, Dr. Deenanath Navathe, Dr. Pramod Bhalekar, Dr. Pranali Landge, Prof. Vaibhav Bankar, and Prof. Manoj Kohle, along with a significant number of faculty, staff, and students, actively participated in the event.
