The 29th Acrobatics Gymnastics State Championship, held at Shri Hanuman Vyamya Prasarak Mandal, was a resounding success! Jointly organized by HVPM and Maharashtra Amateur Gymnastics Association.
Deputy Director of Sports, Mr. Vijay Santan inaugurated the event, setting the stage for an exhilarating competition. The presence of esteemed dignitaries like Prof. Ravindra Khandekar, Adv. Prashant Deshpande, Madhuri Tai Chendke, Makarand Joshi Sir and others added grandeur to the occasion. They expressed their heartfelt support for the bright future of the sports sector and local athletes, highlighting the significant provisions made in the country's recent budget.
As the event unfolded between the 2nd and 4th of February, 160 players showcased their vaults, flips, and balance with precision, Judges meticulously scored each routine while the crowd held their breath in anticipation. Cheers erupted as competitors showcased their agility and strength on the apparatuses.
Different groups of junior and senior gymnasts from across Maharashtra showcased their prowess in pairs and groups. With international coaches on board to judge, it was one incredible gathering of so many talented people.
International coaches and medalists were felicitated, acknowledging their contributions to the world of gymnastics. Secretary of Maharashtra Amateur Gymnastics Association, Dr. Makarand Joshi, encouraged athletes to strive for excellence in their favorite sports, echoing the sentiment of unity and dedication.
