Shri. Veer Vamanrao Joshi
Gymnasium Akharas and revolutionaries had a close relation with each other. Right from the start of Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, in from the foundation of Hanuman Club,founders of these institutions had a great impact of radical patriots of that time. Vaidya brothers had affection for these revolutionaries and they had taken inspiration from wellknown Chaphekar brothers. But the man who inspired Vaidya brothers, founders of H.V.P.M., most and the man who had close relations with mandal from start to his death in 1956 was the great patriot Veer Vamanrao Joshi. He was a radical revolutionary, had formed a big youth organization for armed revolution, gave training of using weapons to youths, ran Akharas,created a library on war literature and started laboratory for bomb making.
Strong Will of revolution
Young generations do not have much knowledge about the revolutionary work done by Veer Vamanrao Joshi. Nobody has written detail biography of vamanraodada yet. Tryambak Guruji has written one of the incident related to him in a special issue of a journal in may, 1976.
Late Shri Anant Krishnarao Vaidya
Late Shri Anant Krishnarao Vaidya alias Baburao Vaidya, one of the founder member of world famous institution Shree Hanuman Vayayam Prasarak Mandal was not only the elder brother of Shree Ambadaspant Vaidya but also a most senior, respectable and adorable personality.Baburaoji Vaidya was born on 31st of Dec in 1897. He was the elder son of Shri Krishnarao and Sau Savitribai Vaidya.
two younger sisters. He was not only fond of artistic drawing but with his excellence in vision and colors of his life he portrayed the canvas of Shree H.V.P. Mandal, the dream of his younger brother Shri Ambadaspant Vaidya. This pleasant portrait of Shree H.V.P. Mandal is not only famous in India but also around the world.
Late Shri Ambadaspant Vaidya
Shree H.V.P. Mandal is a voluntary, social, non-governmental, non-political, secular and multi-disciplinary institute fully managed by the private body. It was founded by the Vaidya Brothers namely Anant Krishna and Ambadas Krishna in the year 1914, as Hanuman club.Vaidya brothers got inspiration to start this club from Veer Vamanrao Joshi – the great patriot of Vidarbha region. The Vaidya brothers while founding the Hanuman Club had 2 clear objectives in view.
One was to link up the movement of physical education with the national movement of Indian renaissance and the second was to modernize and systematize the traditional Indian system of exercises in such a way as would bring in bold relief the best and knowledgeable elements inherent in it.
